Default The Vie-Long BG2012 LE -A Sneak Peak

I have been working with Vie-Long on a brush that will be exclusive to BullGoose Shaving Supplies dubbed the BG2012LE. The brush will come with four knot choices: 1) Silvertip Badger (25mm diameter and 50mm loft) extra stuffed for added backbone. 2) Horse/Badger Mix (25mm diameter and 50mm loft) 3) Horse Hair -Badger Imitation (25mm diameter and 55mm loft) 4) Horse Hair -brown/unbleached (25mm diameter and 55mm loft) Pictured is the prototype for the brown horse hair brush. I have been using it for the past few weeks and find it has really good backbone and is a very versatile brush, handling both creams and hard soaps with ease. The handle for these brushes is a hand turned resin handle that is very substantial feeling and that can go toe to toe with any brush maker. The handle on the production run will have a little more curve to it but this will give you a general idea. I hope to have them in stock in 3 to 4 weeks.

You may not want to answer this here or may not even know yet, but do you have any price points for the brush yet. I love that handle design and am in the market for a new brush soonish so I am just wondering where they will be at and if I will want to wait for it or go another route, either way thats a fine looking brush.

Thank you. I am still working on the pricing and will not know until I am sure of my cost basis. There are still a lot of variables in play. The brushes will be very competitively priced.

As a very satisfied Vie-long owner, I will say the Vie-long brushes in all their varieties are excellent performers and very reasonably priced. Their horse and horse blends are particularly unique. Knowing Phil's reputation for price, attention to quality, and service, I'm sure these are going to be real gems.
    Best,
