    Default Souvenir 7 day sets

I have been looking for a 7 day set and I keep coming across ones that are "souvenir" 7 day sets that have town names on the blades.

Were these post war items made for the occupation forces to bring home? All seem to be labeled in English so were made for non internal consumption.

Is the quality good on these? Are they "trinkets"? OR does quality go all over the place.

I'll be watching with interest. I passed on 3 of a 7 day set, each labeled with a different town in Germany. At the time I wasn't a straight shaver so really didn't know what I was looking for. Depending on what we find out, I just may have to go back and look again.

These souvenir sets are generally pretty good. I had a set marked 'Fagersta' that was made by EA Berg. Those razors were as good as any I've had.

Don't be afraid of them. They're all made very well. It was just another way to sell razors.
