Default A Valentine's Day Special for Her!

This is our first Valentines Day as Husband and Wife and I wanted to do something special for her. If any of you Gent's are married you know how important it is to keep her feeling loved. My wife has put up with a lot lately and I really want her to know how much I appreciate her, since I am unable to afford jewelry at this time the best thing I can do for her is give something handmade. This took me much longer than usual to make since I needed frequent breaks but I persevered and finished this up today. I have been trying to convince her to try a brush when shaving for some time but she has resisted and kept her routine. Alas today she finally tried my brush with my Schick adjustable and really enjoyed how well it worked. I succeeded in finally getting her to want a brush of her own! The razor, not so much, she is going to stick with the Quattro for now at least until I can get her to slow down and take her time.

Some of you Gentlemen have wives who wet shave, what are their favorite razors and creams? I know it will take some time for her to ease into it but I would like to set her down the best road possible.

She doesn't know about this yet, you guys get the sneak peek.

I present the 2012 Valentines Day Exclusive Uff-da Brush by Badrunner13

The knot is a 24mm Black Badger set to 53.5mm for better coverage and softness, after she gets it and uses it I will post pictures of the full bloom. I chose the Black Badger because it is the same hair as the brush I reach for most often.

Oh, I bet your reward will be great for that neat gift. Nothing says I love you more than something that is useful and hand made by the giver.

    I say job well done.

Matt, I was thinking of you when I put this together, I almost used RTV but I know she will keep this forever and went with Devcon. Next time though.

Excellent work. I've got to ask, where did you get the handle?

I make them, you can search my posts and see several more if you like. A few people around here have them too.
