Default Antique Store Find - "The Blade Man" display and blades

Found this display at our local antique shop. It came with 18 packages of 5 blades each. There seems to be some film on the blade. I'll probably take a blade, clean it up, and try to shave with it.

I've searched the net but haven't found much information on these.

Also a the shop were two Durham Duplex straights (it looked like a straight anyway), a Durham Duplex DE razor, an ugly nylon brush, a couple of other old brushes (Ever-something) and a couple of shaving mugs. Oh, and a Twinplex razor blade stropper in what looks to be great shape. I may go back for that. It was cheap. There was one completely red, (except the head), open comb razor. No name on it, and it seemed overpriced.

They appear to be carbon steel blades, never heard of that brand before...

I forgot to mention the worst part of the day. I saw an Estee Lauder box and for some stupid reason decided to open it and I was not very careful about it. It turned out to be full of stinky Estee Lauder face powder, and I spilled some on my hand and sleeve. NASTY!!! I smelled like old lady for the next couple of hours. I pity the men that had to put up with that, back in the day. I suppose back then it didn't smell like old lady though.

LOL! Eh, so you got a little radium, plutonium & who knows what else on you. You'll glow for a few days & be ok.
Seriously, congrats on the blade find!
