Help identify this Rooney brush

Hey B&B brush experts,

I bought this Rooney off the bay, along with matching porcelain shaving bowl and razor.

After washing it thoroughly, I have now used it two times and only had my 5th wet shave today.
I find my Simpson Tulip2-2 to be less scritchy, but i kinda dig the weight of the porcelain.

Looks like a Simpson sticker to me. Can't tell much from the pics though. Obviously a keyhole design but I never knew Rooney or Simpson to make vintage black handles. I'll be interested to hear more from others on this one.

Lee Sabini said it was made in the '70s, with the handle made by Wade Porcelain for them. Boar brush of course.

I was watching that one too. Didn't the auction state it was a Rooney not Simpson? Either way it is a very nice set.

Was there still any soap left? I haven't tried mine yet, was wondering whether it was any good or not.

Wow, you guys are awesome! The bowl is stamped "Made In England~Rooney" Insomniac, there was no box or soap. The sticker does look Simpson-like.
Great idea to swap out the existing bristles for silver tip. Here is a close up of the sticker.
