Complex 15 is by far the best facial moisturizer I've ever used. I have semi-oily skin and I'm prone to breaking out if I use an ASB or anything moisturizing at all. During the wintertime I have issues with dry skin and if I use a moisturizer I end up breaking out still. This is the ONLY product that I can't feel on my face for hours afterwards. It really absorbs well. The hand lotion I use is still greasy on my hands after sleeping all night once I get a little water on my in the shower in the morning. Complex 15 isn't like that even when it gets wet.

This Complex 15 stuff was given to us by my sister. She loved it and we ended up buying stuff. Pretty cheap on Amazon.

Okay, up front, I only seem to need to moisturize in the winter and even then, only once a week, after exfoliating. I used a product from Daybreak Lavendar Farm

    http://www.daybreaklavenderfarm.com/...447-c-313.html

But for oily skin aftershave, have you guys tried Lavendar or Rose Thayers? It's a nice way to go.

Also I assume you've read some of the stuff on oil "therapy"? Theory goes your skin is oily because it needs more oil. Applying some (even as simply as olive oil) will calm down your own production of oil. It's kinda counter intuitive but might be worth a look.

I use Alum block followed by Ren Multi Tasking Aftershave Balm when I have shaved.
If I've not shaved, I use Clinique 2.5 scruffing lotion followed by Clinique M-Lotion Gel. I also use Clinique eye cream irrespective of whether I have shaved.
When the Ren finishes, I have some Anthony Logisitcs Aftershave Balm lined up.

I'm still relatively new and have only been wet shaving for about two months. My current after shave ritual is rinsing with cold water, using an alum block and letting that sit on my face for about a minute while I clean up, then rinsing my face again, and finally applying the Catalyst for me AS splash I saw in a recommended thread.

I like the Nivea for men aftershave 'balm' I think they call it. It's pretty soothing, especially in dry, cold weather. Usually still like to use an alcohol-based AS first. (Clubman today) I've used unscented moisturizers too---they're cheaper----but Nivea's great and supposedly has some good stuff in it.

I'm looking at Neutrogena Triple Shield and Clinique M Protect SPF 21. Any recommendations either way?

This is what I use. It delivers a lot of anti-oxidants directly to the skin. I got it for my GF a while ago and it worked WONDERS for her skin...much more even tone, softer/supple, less acne breakouts, MUCH more radiant as her skin was very dull prior to the cream.

I use it as a night time moisturiser but only 1-2 times per week in warmer months and 2-3 times per week in winter. It really improves the skin condition as it is looking after the actual skin cells.

I have an odd chioce. I use AOS preshave oil in sandlewood scent as a dry skin lotion. I wet my hands and apply a few drops, wring my hands and apply this to my face also. It's stick when wet, but quickly dries to a silky smooth feel. It's not oily in the least, and feels and smells great.

Hempz body butter is an extremely good moisturizer. It's thick without leaving greasy residue. I've converted several folks over to using it.

For post-shave, I slice off a bit of my aloe plant, filet it, then rub it on just before bed (I usually shave at night so I have 6-8 hours for my skin to calm down; less razor burn).

I'm currently using Acure Organics Lemongrass + Argan oil lotion as facial moisturizer and it works great, plus the lemongrass scent is natural and pleasant. You can try it without breaking the bank, just order it from iherb.com, and use the IRO586 discount coupon to receive a $5 discount for your first purchase. You will pay about $3 plus shipping in total, which is very good.

I use a product my wife gave me to try. It's not cheap but a little goes a very long way. The product contains hyaluronic acid which is a great moisturizer.

Olay with spf 30. Nice and light and works. If I want to use a tinted moisturizer I use the Aveeno with spf 30.

I use a really simple and cheap moisturizer: plain ol' glycerin. I put about 2-3 drops of it in my hand after I wash my face, shave, and put on aftershave, then I add water to the tips of my fingers, gradually dissolving the glycerin into the water that coats my hands. From there, just smear it on and let it dry: voila! Cheap, odorless, natural and simple moisturizer. I love this so much because I have combination oily/dry skin, and glycerin gives me an unparalleled healthy, hydrated look and feel without being the least bit oily.
