Glad to see Kiehl's getting so much love. I also use their facial moisturizer, it's great stuff and a tiny bit goes a long way. It's one of the pricier moisturizers, certainly the most expensive thing in my medicine cabinet other than my brushes, but it lasts a really long time.

I've thought about doing this. The ingredients seem to be right, although I would probably go with American Crew, they have a great pre-shave oil with a light peppery scent.

Simply the best face moisturizer I've ever used is this:

St. Ives Timeless Skin Facial Moisturizer

You can purchase a 10oz tube at Walmart or Target for around $5. But don't let the price make you think it's cheap and useless.

It's formulated without parabens and phthalates. It's got elastin and collagen and best of all it moisturizes your face so well without being greasy.
Even during the coldest months, my skin is smooth without any dryness at all. It brightens my complexion and makes my skin look healthy.
Try it out, as St. Ives makes awesome stuff for a fraction of the cost.

I use Earth Science Moisturizing Face & Body Skin Care Balm for Men. It's pretty simple stuff and works great after a shave or whenever.

"Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis) Extract, Witch Hazel (Hamamelis Virginiana) Extract, Glyceryl Stearate, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, TEA Stearate, Gotu Kola Extract, Sodium PCA, Isopropyl Palmitate, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E) (Vitamin E), Allantoin (Comfrey Root), Soya (Soybean)Sterol, Hyaluronic Acid, Fragrance, Potassium Sorbate, Sorbic Acid (A Preservative)"

I use MK For Men. Sister sells Mary Kay so she keeps me supplied. I also like the aftershave balm that that is labeled under the same name.

I use Burts Bees Baby Bees lotion. I get dry patches on either side of my mouth and a little on the forehead but otherwise my face is very sensitive to moisturizers. They usually make me break out or get ingrown hairs and at my age that's embarrassing. Burt's Bees for babies, though, I mean if it's good for babies, it's gotta be good for my face, right? I've been using it since my first child was born and he's six now, so that's a long time with good results.

I have VERY sensitive skin and can't tolerate even the slightest bit of oiliness in a moisturizer. My dermatologist recommended CeraVe, and it is a godsend. My skin has never looked or felt better.

the ONLY thing that i do to my face now, besides shaving it and sometimes applying after-shave balm (and, more rarely, alum and/or witch hazel), is oil cleansing. i use a mixture of about 40% castor oil, 40% extra virgin olive oil, and 20% avocado oil. i rub a moderate layer all over my face and neck, sit around and let it soak in for 15 minutes, then lay a hot towel over my whole face for 3-4 minutes or until it cools.

in the past 6-8 weeks, my skin has felt MUCH better than before. it's a far superior routine for my face than anything i've ever done before. my face is ALWAYS properly moisturized now, and it's NEVER dry or greasy to any degree. i was very pleasantly surprised that applying a layer of OIL to my face would actually prevent my skin from releasing its own oils, and instead just leave me feeling perfectly soft and smooth all the time. since i started this, i've only used soap on my face once (shave soap excluded of course), which was yesterday, and the result was terrible - dry, burning, irritated face all day. i don't use any other kind of moisturizer at all...i just oil cleanse once or twice a day, and i don't think i'll ever change that unless my skin itself changes dramatically for some reason.

Neutrogena Healthy Defense SPF 50 with Helioplex. I stopped using it for a while, but I went back to it. It's the best sunscreen moisturizer that I've used. I have oily skin and it does make me a little greasy, but I just wipe the grease away and I'm fine. They also make one with Pure Screen, which is zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. I don't like that one. It's too tacky on my skin.

I've tried them all. Kiehl's and a few others are very good but I feel none of them compare to Nancy Boy. Both day and night moisturizers are fantastic!!!

Olay Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid (Sensitive Skin). This is the unscented. It changes names every several years. I've been using it about 25 years, especially after showering (I shave prior to showering).

Back when I was a tough guy, it wasn't named beauty fluid. Honest.
