I have this exact vintage Merkur case in white. My HD and Slant do not fit snugly where the clamshell closes on the tip of the razor, so my guess is an early Progress as well.

I know what razor this is now. It's a Matador, a (I guess) Swedish razor. One just showed up at a auction here in Sweden, hope to get! :)

Wow... That is one horrendous auction shot. It's a common bar handle from a NEW, but the head's not a NEW head. The ridge on the cap makes me think of one of these no-name razors:

That's what I was thinking. Clearly a bar handle new but it will be interesting to find out what the head is when I get it.

They usually show up on ebay UK, and go for about $60-80, plus fat shipping to the US. I've had pretty good luck buying stuff from "over the pond" though. They are just starting to show up on ebay USA.

Looks like a Schick Injector razor (probably a "Type G") with the injector blade cartridge inserted into the razor. Nice picture...

A lot depends on condition, but I probably wouldn't go over $10.00 for the razor.

Here is one I saw listed. You got to love it when they use the Ebay Mobile app and a cell phone photo to sell stuff. Any guess as to what is all in the photo? The title was Vintage Razor Collection.
