Ok, the pens (and pencils, and... whatever, including a singer sewing machine screwdriver that I actually needed anyway, small world) are in hand and I've done a clearing out spree for crappy ballpoints and other items that were obviously damaged beyond any hope of recognition/repair. What we've got left is... interesting.

First off, sorry for the AWFUL pictures, it's the best my fiance's iphone could do, my parents drove away with our decent camera earlier this morning (by accident of course) so it won't be back any time soon. The pictures really don't do any of the pens justice, maybe my descriptions will make some sense out of things and I'm happy to answer any questions or clarify things for folks. Oh, and I still have some cap matching/swaping to do, once you sort/trash/catalog these suckers for a few hours things get really cranky, at least I did.

Oh and keep in mind, I know virtually nothing with regards to restoring the internal mechanisms, nibs, or finishes. I'd love to do what I can on my own, so links to resources regarding restorations would be very much appreciated.

Hrm... never uploaded this many pictures before, bear with me.

I wonder if I might need to join up over at that fountain pen forum and get some opinions there, bah, anyway, on to the presentation.

Looks like a Parker Turban top in there, worth more than what the whole lot went for, provided it had a nib, and a Sheaffer Crest is always a very nice pen. I'm jealous, but congrats. Definitely a killer score! You should have a lot of fun with this!

Lots more pictures coming, did I mention already that there's not as many parkers in what I have in hand as there were in the regular pictures, I have a few, but not that many... oh and it looks like you're going to have to scroll to the right some to see all my data entry, please be forgiving, i was getting burned out a bit at the end and my data/descriptions got more and more vague/terse.

AA waterman = NICE! Unless you see two holes close together on the cap, it never had a clip. Accommodation, or slip on clips were common place back then. It may have vent holes, but doubt it had a clip.

The Parker eyedropper should have a number on the barrel end. Probably a 20 1/2. Don't confuse Parker's 1/2 terminology with Waterman's. Where a waterman 1/2 means vest(short) size, for Parker it means chased hard rubber. Very nice!

#11 is a first year Sheaffer Crest Touchdown , aka the "fat" touchdown before they all became TM or thin models. Very nice pens, I have one just like it on my desk right now. They need a larger sac than the other touchdowns, 17, I think is the correct size.

Dude. You're killing me. A 51 demonstrator?! Yeah, wrong cap but who cares, that's easy to replace. If in good shape with No crystallization is a $300+ pen. The turban top Parker is early and valuable as well. Makes me wonder, a) what the guy who took the other Parker's got, and b) why he didn't take the rest!
