    Default Shaving nirvana?

Nirvana is so close....I started wetshaving 2 years ago with a Merkur HD, Trumpers Limes soap and Derby extra blades (after trying Shark, Super Iridium and Merkur blades). I recently switched to a Feather AS DE, Feather blades and Cella soap. This is a great combination that is giving me great shaves. So smooth, DFS or BBS most of the time with no worry about the nicks/cuts that I would occasionally get with the Merkur HD if not careful.

I have a Rooneys 3/1 badger brush and have been eyeing some silvertip brushes. As I like to face lather I think the silvertip badger will be more pleasant. Can you recommend a brush that will help me reach shaving nirvana?

How bout a Semogue 830? It has the scrubby back bone needed for face lathering, but also has soft tips that will please the badger crowd. Its not *quite* as soft as my shavemac, but pretty close.

    See my post: http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthr...-no-irritation
Doesn't help with your brush question, but may help you get even better results.
