Nancy Boy vs. MdC

Does the signature scent smell like MdC? NB seem to describe the same EO as MdC?

If not, are they different enough to merit a NB purchase?

totally different. I highly recommend NB and the scent is amazing. Lavender-peppermint-which touch of Rosemary. Very clean. MdC is more medicinal which is a love or hate scent. Not many folks hate NB scent as much as they hate MdC. Both are fairly easy to unload on the BST as well. The NB is in an amazing performer once you get the mixture right. It is an odd one to lather and many times you will get a dry lather but once to hydrate it to perfection it is unmatchable. You dont need any type balm afterwards.

Oh that really was the stopper for me, thinking that they were similar. Thanks JKT, I will certainly go ahead and pull the trigger on some NB!

the nancy boy signature scent is absolutely amazing. the pre shave oil's signature scent is even better for some reason to me. I just love it. I'm still trying to figure out what cream is right for me, but I do like the NB. Its a different animal than the AOS I've been using. Different constancy...but I still think it works well.

Yeah, the NB cream smells awesome. I hate the smell of MdC, but others love it. The two do not smell AT ALL alike. Totally different.

I used NB Signature this morning.

Great lather, very pleasing scent.

However, the shave wasn't as close as I get with MdC. Just to validate, tomorrow's shave will be same brush (Shavemac 177) same razor (Muhle R89) and using MdC.

i've been using my my "travel size" containers, so i can re-order some more and the new blossomwood.

love both scents (signature & refreshing), so will welcome the blossomwood soon.
