Now I thought Bourbon by definition couldn't be older than 18 years. And they reserved that age for Elijah Craig (father of bourbon).
I guess not.

Nope, bourbon must be at least 2 years old and 4 years old for Straight bourbon, but can be any age beyond that. The oldest I know of is Pappy 23 which is very, very dry. Bourbon being in new barrels and usually in the Kentucky heat, bourbon doesn't age the same way as Scotch and will mature quickly which is why you don't often see very old bourbons.
