What's up with the Vision scarcity?

Why does nearly everyone seem to have these on back order? Did they suspend production or are they redesigning again?

Merkur has top production sales teams, they know the trends and they are probably just following supply and demand and slowed down a bit in production, no worries.

I've been talking with Phil of BullGoose since earlier today. He did not have any. When trying to load the product into the shopping cart you get a message that it's out of stock.

I thought Royalshave was in error to claim they had some in stock, so I called them tonight and they DO have it. They said the "just" got some in. Got mine!

I like this video, it shows all the effort that goes into the creation of a Vision razor. The first 5 minutes are about how Merkur makes razors, which is also interesting viewing. The talk about Vision starts at the 5:10 mark.
