you've only got four months left! I can't believe it. According to his newsletter for February:

------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Changes Coming at RichardsPens.com ***
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks to you, our loyal clients, our retail business continues to grow.
In fact, it's grown so much that we simply no longer have time to do all
that we want to do to serve you in the manner that you deserve. It is
therefore with some sadness that we must announce that as of June 1,
2012, we will no longer be accepting pens for repair or nib customiza-
tion. We will complete all work on pens that arrive before the beginning
of June, but we won't be taking in any more pens for repair after that
date.

Someone tell USPS ... they're getting a LOT of little packages between now and June ...

Oh wow! His turn around time was looking to be three months. I wonder what it will be now?!

His website is great. I hope that part stays the way it is.

Crazy. So he's just going to be selling new pens and nibs now? It's really too bad, there are a lot of broken pens that simply won't ever be used again now.

See Ron Zorn, Richard and he are friends, Ron does great repair work although I haven't used his nib services. I very rarely have mine customized.

wow. this is like Rudy telling us he's not going to turn anymore handles.

I may have to drop the coin on an Italifine nib before its too late.
