I had an unopened can of Garrett & Sons original Scotch Snuff (white can) and tried some of that today. I definitely see where you are coming from with the smokey bacon BBQ. It was quite enjoyable.

I like the flavor of this one but I don't care for the grind of the Molens offerings, I have tries three and just can do Molens, by the way thanks for joining in on the reviews it was getting kinda lonely over there, although your reviews make mine look like amateur night.

Molens can be a little coarse. It was one of my first snuffs, so I'm a little used to it. Conversely, I can't take the real fine grinds. Good to find other snuff takers here

Bought a new can of Garrett Sweet Snuff to compare with my previous experience and I can tell the difference, but I'm still getting a bit of that old attic taste from it. Looks like I'm going to have to bite the bullet and place an online order to try some good stuff.

Funny you should mention it...I just posted a new thread asking for recommendations to avoid hijacking this one. Any suggestions you have are appreciated.

Samuel Gawith Black Rappee, WOW if you guys like a good english/Latakia you have to try this snuff, no flavorings or perfumes here just pure black moist super smoky tobacco goodness, it may not be a Latakia but sure taste like it, I absolutely recommend this stuff.

I haven't ever tried snuff but you guys have gotten me interested. The only problem I am having is finding any. Is my only option to order online? If so is MrSnuff the best option?

There are basically three sources from snuff, Mr. Snuff (my first choice), Toque, and The Snuff Store (which is not taking credit card at this time), I have had very good experiences with Mr. Snuff, the shipping takes a bit longer (shipping from Ireland) our wonderful government has made it illegal to sell snuff over the internet in the U.S., you may be able to find some American scotch snuff at your local grocery or drug store or tobacconist but scotch's are not exactly the best to start with, they are very fine and dry and if sniffed too hard can be quite unpleasant, I would suggest something with medium moisture and grind, something like McChrystal's or Wilson's of Sharrow they both make a lot of flavors, if you want any recommendations send me a PM and we can discuss your taste.
