Inaugural shave with it this morning after returning home yesterday.
Love the feel of the handle, and I agree with others that it has great backbone.
Though it looks and feels smaller than the 2011 LE, it holds tons of lather in the TGN knot.
This is my new favorite brush.

A masterpiece from a true Master.

    Thanks Rudy.

    Want to have some fun?

    Face-lather using the Arko stick.
Finish the first pass and completely rinse.
Now relather for the 2nd pass without touching the stick.

That knot is like a shaving mug in a handle!

First shave this morning, and the only conclusion I was able to draw from this one shave is: "fabulous".
If there is one thing I'm looking for in a brush, it's backbone, and although the knot seemed to be on the small side, it's got plenty of that!
The handle is just great, perfect weight and handling; a fantasic brush, and it's uniqueness keeps adding to the appeal.

    Rudy, you're the man!

Well, 88/100 arrived about 5 minutes ago. I would lie and say I'll use it tomorow, and I may, but more than likelly im gonna soak it a few times over the next couple day before I use it.

I have to admit, I purchased this before I took delivery of an Omega Boar, and to be honest, that brush has been getting all the play since I got it.... Can this be the brush to de-throan the champ?

I've had 76/100 TGN for a couple of weeks now and it has become the top brush in my line-up. It is a lather monster with creams and is one of my top 2 brushes for soaps. Plenty of backbone yet only a hint of scritch. I don't think it's lost a hair - I think the ones I'm seeing are mine. Great Job, Rudy! Can't wait until 2013...

Someone asked for a picture of the Shavemac D01 in "full bloom"...

I've been shaving with mine almost exclusively since I got it a few weeks ago.

I have found the Shavemac knot and Ogallala bay rum soap go together like hot dogs and mustard. While I have found the D01 to work well with soaps in general, it creates an unbelievable lather with the Ogallala. Could be my favorite combination, at least for now.

I am FINALLY able to comment on the LE brush...used it this morning for the first time (darned Minimalist May/30 days of... committments), and I have to say that I am more than impressed. The Shavemac knot is just outstanding: felt great on the face, gave up the lather readily, and apparently contains some kind of wormhole allowing it to hold more lather than there is volume in the brush. I paired it up with one of the new RR La Famiglia croaps (may as well replace both variables, right?) and just had an outstanding shave.

I was not, and am not, a huge fan of the keyhole design from an aesthetic point, but man, does it work perfectly in the hand. My fingers find the waist of the brush naturally and the base is at a just right angle. This is a 'shaving man's' brush, not a brush for display, and it works like one. Well played, B&B, and well done, Rudy.

I'm with you. I didn't care for the look of the keyhole, but once in the hand, it's a perfect shape. I have a whole new perspective on the keyhole design.

+1 on the superior handling of the keyhole handle. I'm thinking of asking Rudy to make me another one in faux tortoiseshell, which is my favourite material for a brush handle.

    I very much recommend it!

I have now tried the brush with most of my favourite soaps and creams (Nivea still missing, will use it tomorrow), and it works just great with each and every one of them.

retrolike, check out this thread in the B/S/T. Looks like you still have a shot at the TGN knot, and can help out a fellow B&B'er at the same time.

Alright, I can chime in too.

So I've used mine about 5 times, and this morning was the perfect shave. I used Mikes Natural barber shop... my oh my, this thing holds alot of lather, 3 passes and I swear there was enough there for 3 more.

So far I've also used it with Razorocks chianti lavender and Monsavon (sp?).. all of which this brush is amazing for. Perhaps next week I will break into my kilo brick of Cella and give that a go.

As of this morning, it has only shed 1 hair.

    Well done Rudy!!!

+1 If you have patience, keep your eye on B/S/T. In addition to the one beeranon mentioned, I've also seen a Shavemac B&B 2012 up for sale.

The above BST RV LE B&B Keyhole is on it's way to me! (insert evil laugh) I held off getting one and regretted it. No more, I say!

    My best on finding one.

After many more shaves I can safely say that this is an awesome brush. It keeps amazing me how the lather really explodes on my face and how wonderful this lather is.
