Is there a No. American, peferably U.S. (no offense to our neighbors to the North) vendor of Voskhods?

Does The Shave Den store count? They have them in 100 packs as well, but are sold out at the moment.

I looked and couldn't find any 100 packs. Yesterday, The Shave Den still had 5 packs avilable for purchase. Showed 250 avilable. That was only place I found after a week of searching for em. I missed the gooses and razorblades aand more sale. I choose to get in on the group buy that's happening instead of buying just a few five packs. Figured after shipping it would be a more effective purchase and if I don't like em there is always the BST.

I can't find any in the USA since the great Rapira sell off of 10 days ago. I wish I had gotten some Voskhods instead of so many Rapiras. Oh well.

According to the guy who's heading up the group buy at the Den, all of the vendors that carried them got pissed when he conducted his last group buy and now they won't carry them since he's doing it again. This is what I've heard and read but I didn't take part in the threads in question.

I would have to recheck my order history but could almost swear I odered 100 each Voshkods and Ladas from Bullgoose but I checked their website they don't list them anymore. Also WCS has none. They are great, since I got them, I have not used any other blade.

Why would the Den's group buy piss anyone off?

Because the dealer that has the blades is also one that sells em to the vendors that were selling em at $18.00 a hundred. With a lot of people being able to get in a group buy at a lower price it decreases demand at the $18.00 price tag. It was said the other vendors weren't happy that the dealer was allowing em to be sold for a group buy, not just not strictly vendors only. Those were possible reasons given on other forums. No factual basis just theory. So take what I wrote for what's its worth. Absolutely nothing with no factual basis.

I believe that guy flooded the market with product at lower prices than he wholesaled the same blades to the vendors.
I don't know if they got 'pissed off' necessarily, but it didn't make sense to pay the carrying costs to stock blades under those circumstances.

Yeah, all I got out of that thread was that the vendors got pissed off about being undercut. As far as the market being "flooded", oh please - I went looking for some and can't find any domestic source.
What the vendor did was poor business and crappy. I could imagine not wanting to work with the same person further, but fact is, loyal customers who look to their favorite vendors for these (as I did recently) are getting hurt by this over zealous reaction.
