    Travis,
Thank you. And the reason I saved it for last is because it's my favorite as well. I too tend to think it has a classy look to it. Somehow ,, elegant? Black tux,, white shirt...

The only sad news is that I copyrighted the term "busyback" a long time back, and thus all your entries must be disqualified.....

I not only love the razors, each of which are impressive as the next, but the concepts, and the summaries. Well done sir, well done!

    That 57 Chevy is outrageous!!!!!!!
Oh,, that was a typo on my part. So sorry. I meant to spell " bizzyback" . Meant no harm.
I'm glad though that you seem to like my #%!@& razors. Very high compliments indeed coming from you. Thanks!

The scales are made from clear cast epoxy mixed with Noodler's Cactus Green. Actually got the idea from Mycarver. Just messed up mixing the resin and hardener so they are really soft.

Wait,,, just give them time. Resins will harden over time all by themselves. You don't need catalyst believe it or not. I had half a gallon go to a solid block of clear acrylic on me. The catalyst just speeds the process. You probably started work on them too soon. You also didn't add enough catalyst either.. but they will harden up over time.
The thing is, if you make pours into a container,, it'll harden with very little cat.
If you're pouring a flat sheet,, you need to add quite a bit of cat to the mix. Much more than the directions indicate.
Give them some time and i'll bet they'll get harder. Weird stuff figuring it out. I blew through a couple hundred bucks in product figuring it out.
    Good to know, appreciate it!

Believe it or not,, an order of steel just showed up at my studio today. I certainly have fun with the resto's,, and they seem to be coming in at an alarming rate lately besides the 40 or so of my own to do,, and the GD's are fun , and I have dozens of more ideas for them, each one different than the last,,, but I seem to have come to a point where I need virgin steel,, not tempered, to see just what I can do with it. I like to think I pushed the tempered pretty far,, but I'm a carver at heart. I need something I can carve!
I've designed a two wheel system for hollow grind as well as a belt sander with 8,6,4 " wheels, as I want to try and create something close to my Puma,, you know,, paper thin blades,, and something close to my York Samurai with the carved scales that look like a Samurai handle and the blade is asymetrically ground like a Kami,, and I want my own version of Kami's,, and I want,, and I want,, and I want,,,,
So what's a guy to do?

OOPS,, wrong quote,, this was directed at Seraphim.. sorry Travis for the confusion.

I've got 4 ready to go with more only three days away. I do have plans for several that wouldn't fit into the 7 day box theme.

I'm sure Chinas economy is thanking us.

Maybe we should start grinding up Hart's and TI's.

Yeah,, they're probably thinking as I've said before,, "Hey,, we're making a great product,, America loves them" or,, "Those stupid Americans buying razor that won't even shave" If only they knew.

    Let's see:

    Market research analysis--
Number of kooky Gold Dollar purchases in US: 73

Number of Chinese GD purchases: 389,678,642

We're not even on the radar screen.

I lack the words to express how impressive this work is Mark. Stunning job on all.

This would make an interesting link for other shaving forums too. :)
