    Question Vulfix 2235 Super Badger

Im thinking about purchasing the Vulfix 2235 Super Badger Brush and would like to know if anyone has it/tried it. Im a young wet shaver and I have sensitive skin. Is the brush prickly like pure badger? Picture will be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

All I can offer is that I had the 2234s. It was my first brush.
I have sold it as I have gotten some higher end brushes.
Funny thing is that I still miss that brush sometimes. It did everything pretty well and was soft. Some may say it is a bit floppy but I didn't think it was floppy as much as it was soft.
It didn't have the density (packed hair) as some of the more expensive brushes but that is not necessarily a bad thing and mine didn't really shed a hair.
I will also say that it had one of the more comfortable handles as well.
All this said, I still may re-acquire a Vulfix in the future, but it will probably be the 2235 as I have become more fond of slightly larger brushes.

I have a Vulfix 2233 which is pretty close to the same brush, just a bit smaller. Vulfix Super Badger has absolutely no scritch whatsoever. It is less dense than other brushes which makes it a bit more "floppy", but I can whip up great lather with both soaps and creams with little effort. You won't be dissapointed with the soft face feel of Vulfix Super.

I'm very happy with my 2234. I love to use it not less than the other brushes I possess. It all depends what you expect from this brush. It is indeed less dense and very soft, some call it floppy but I don't think it needs more backbone. Hairs are very thin and soft and feel luxurious on the face. It kinda makes me want to abuse it and smash it against my face, and it doesn't mind. I use it mainly for making lather in a bowl from cream, and it's very efficent using it this way.

I have the 2234 and it is by far my softest & most luxurious brush. There is absolutely zero scritch from this brush. I use it regularly and unlike others who mention it as a bowl lathering brush I use it primarily for face lathering. I can even use the flexible & soft brus to load hard soaps that typically are difficult to lather like Cade & modern Williams. You won't go wrong with this brush if you want soft!

I used nothing but a 2235 for 5 years and it never gave me a problem. Soft, comfortable, whips up lather just fine. Some call it too floppy, but I never thought so.

Is the 2233 the brush you used in your arko video? If so, it looks like a really good size!

I have a 2235 and use it nearly every day. It is exactly what I was looking for, not too big, not too floppy, not too stiff, not too small, but just right. The price at West Coast shaving is pretty decent as well.
    Relax...Take it easy...Enjoy the lather.

I totally agree with Georg here. It's a solid performer with a comfortable handle and soft tips, but also with very little backbone.

+1 I have one also and it is truly decadent to use. I wouldn't call it floppy, but it isn't a soap killer. For creams though, it is utterly luxurious

My 2235 is now six years old. It's a nice big, soft brush for bowl lathering. I find it a little too soft and floppy for face lathering. It's a keeper and has been my primary brush for a good part of its life. I've had a SBAD for the past two years so it doesn't get as much use as in the past but I still like to pull it out occasionally and whip up a pile of lather in a big old bowl.

I got a 2236 in the mail today and whew it's way too big. It dwarfs my Omega 49 and that's saying something.

I have a 2236 as well, and it is indeed a large brush. But it was my first nice brush and it lathered everything I threw at it. I still have it, but don't use it too much anymore.

I have the 2235 and I have to agree what Marco and others have said. Not a lot of backbone and is better suited for creams than soaps.

Great value brush, very very soft tips. As others have stated, not a ton of backbone and zippy scratch...but very solid plus a very nice handle for the money.

The #41 is a nice large Vulfix too.

I've had the 2234, and now use daily the 41.....the mop!! I love Vulfix brushes, they lather cream, soaps, and even Williams they are super soft, and feel great on your face...if your looking for a bigger brush, jump on the 40 or 41. I love mine!!!

Vulfix IMHO makes a really nice brush. I have the 2234 in my rotation and use it often.

I did have the 2235, but I just found it too large for my taste in brushes. Some will say the size difference between the two is very small, but using a brush is all about using something that you like and are comfortable using.

I have a 2235s (bought on the B/S/T) and it is, by far, my favorite brush. I use it more than all other combined (Vulfix 40, Simpsons 57 best, ShaveMac 25, etc. . . . )

I'm considering a 2236 and have a post in Want to Buy.

If you haven't bought the 2235 yet, go for it. It's a great brush and a great deal.
