Default Is there any blade that a Slant doesn't improve?

I have started experimenting with more blades in my slant. At first, I was just using my favorite three. I have now begun using several blades which fell off my "favored" list and I think the slant has made every one of them better. They still haven't jumped over my other favorites (the Iridium Supers in my slant are a match made in heaven), but I will say I like nearly every blade better in my slant than in other razors. Who knew a simple twist (pun intended) on an old design would make such a difference.

I find the 37c to be really smooth with pretty much any blade I've thrown at it, great shaver!

+1! I totally agree. I've tried several razors but the slant is the better shaver for me. All blades, and I've tried many different blades, work better in the HD slant and every time I use another razor it feels like a step backwards.

I have also an really old Merkur slant with a stronger slanted head than the current slant has and the blades feel even sharper in it:

It looks more scary than it is. The blades feel sharper in this razor while the shave is not more risky than with the current slant.
