I had a chance to handle the brush and both knots. The TGN is a very well known and an excelent performer. The DO1 knot really impressed me. It is at least Plission quality with very fine stiff hairs and very dense.

Ok, I know I cannot afford the do1 knot, but can somebody describe what kind of brush I can expect with the TGN knot? Is that the same knot as 2011?

I don't know if this year's tgn is exactly the same knot as 2011 but they are both the Finest grade. I have the 2011 and love it. Hard to go wrong with a tgn finest.
