My father was an Old Spice man. Shaving soap, though, not after shave.
Thanks,
Mike

Dad uses Old Spice on occasion, other than that he's not much of an aftershave kind of guy. I'm predominantly Old Spice, but have been known to use British Sterling once in a while.
My father used Ice Blue Aqua Velva and I did at first, until I felt that I needed a scent that would linger. Now I'm straying from colognes, because they do nothing for the shaving experience.

Aqua Velva
Old Spice.
I remember as a kid watching my Dad shave. I even remember looking in the sink and asking about the wiskers floating in there with the cream. He was definitely an Old Spice man.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.
English Leather and Old Spice for my Dad. The English Leather bottle had a huge wooden cap on it, and the Old Spice had a small grey plastic plug on the top. Maybe they're still made that way...I don't know. Haven't seen them since I lived at home and remember seeing them in Dad's shaving cabinet.
EJ89, Astra SP, Omega Silvertip, XXX, & Pinaud Bay Rum.
Dads was Clubman, which was also splashed on me after baths when I was little along with the talc, lol
So yeah,I was raised on Clubman and quite use to the scent.lol
Ice Blue Aqua Velva. Every year my mom would buy one of the enormous bottles so I could wrap it up to give to him for Christmas. Kinda sad seeing that plastic bottle now when I go home to visit.

It really is all James' fault.
(Okay, maybe Owen had something to do with it as well.)
Old Spice AS and OS deodorant stick (the pale green color one) always loved that smell and i found that the Tabac deo stick smells almost exactly the same at the OS.
My Dad's scent of choice was Old Spice, but he only wore it once a week or so. He was a blue collar guy until he retired, so he went to work in Dickies and boots. But he would put on the dress shirt and take my mom out once in a while, and that's when he wore the Old Spice. I'm not and OS guy (at least not the "classic") because SWMBO doesn't care for it. But she lets me wear Clubman and Skin Bracer!

He's never used any real aftershave but sprays on some Azzaro instead right after shaving. Funny how things change - as a teen I couldn't stand this scent and tried to make him switch to something "modern" (Cool Water probably), but these days - he's heading towards 80 - I love it. Fond memories whenever I smell Azzaro.
Mennen Skin Bracer
Still taking nourishment and breathing.
Old Spice...the soap, the mug, the aftershave and a cheap Ever-Ready brush. About 35 years ago, he switched to electric shaving,
but at 88 years old, he still rocks the "Spice".
When you get to the fork in the road, take it.

My dad used Afta up until a couple of years ago.
My grandpa used Old Spice and I have his old Shulton bottle in my den.
Only AS I've ever seen my dad use are Brut and OS, more often Brut. Also wears Brut deo. My grandpa on my mom's side wore only OS and Avon Wild Country. Anyone know if they still make that stuff? I doubt it's the same, but I might have to try some anyway. Lot of respect for that man. Good guy, loved his beer and his trains.

My Dad used Hai Karate and English Leather. Grandad was an Old Spice Man.
Yup. Skin Bracer. He never wore anything else, not even if he received something else as a gift. So naturally, when I started shaving in '67 I used SB. Now 45 years later, I still do. It's the only scent I associate with my dad, and the only scent my kids associate with me.
English Leather is the only one I really remember him using.
