I have an opportunity to purchase a Lady Schick Injector and I am curious if men use this as a face shaver. I know the Lady Gillette gets some love from the men here. I have never used an injector but I am anxious to try one. Anyone?

I don't see why not, it's basically a regular Injector with a fancier handle. I don't own one, but would have no issues shaving with it. I own, and love my Blue Lady Gillette.
Just don't get the travel version of the Lady Injector: it has a much shorter than normal handle, which would seem to be cumbersome for the typically larger hands of men.

I haven't had any luck with chain pharmacies like Walgreens or CVS, but find them at some of the independent neighborhood pharmacies in my area. Usually I pay $5 to $6 for a 7 pack of Schick injector blades. You can also order them in bulk from Amazon or other online vendors. I don't get mine from Amazon because it is my hope that if I keep purchasing from local stores, they would keep stocking them. And to answer your first question, I enjoy the longer handles on the Lady Schick Injectors.

Amazon is your best bet. It's cheaper if you buy in bulk (4 packs of 7). They also have the Personna 74's (they are New Old Stock and not manufactured anymore) which have great reviews and can be had for about $14 a pack (limit 1 due to availability). They're a little expensive, I'm planning on getting some soon. I only have experience with the Chinese made Schicks so I have nothing to compare them to.
If you check on ebay there's constantly different vendors selling old stock blades for good deals. You can also go the Ted Pella route and get Personna injector blades intended for lab microslicers. I haven't dealt with Ted Pella but here's another source: http://connaughtshaving.com/injectorblades.html
Personna 74's are known for their blade life. One could easily get 20 shaves from one blade.
I once tested with a Personna 74, and stopped at 17 shaves simply because I got bored with using the same razor that many days in a row. The blade was still cutting wonderfully though.
A normal Injector blade is good for 7-8 shaves though, so I doubt the increased longevity is really worth the difference in price.
