I purchased a Gillette brush off of the Bay. I had planned on putting a new knot in it. When it arrived I was shocked to see how small it was! The hair turned out to be in good shape so for now I am going to use it as is. So far I have been pleased with the performance of this brush, I think I like it better than my Wee Scot. It is around the same size as my Wee Scot, so this may become my new travel brush.

Wow that is small. But it looks good. What knot did you put in that F40 EverReady? I have one that I'm redoing and looking at different knots.

I purchased the knot from Whipped Dog. I think his prices are great. That one is a 20/65 best/fine badger knot.

Is it stiff/scratchy? I like a really soft feel, but not floppy.

That is the softest / floppyish brush I own. May not be for you. I have another restore I did that is not as floppy. I used a Whipped dog Silver tip badger in that one.
