Cool WOW! Had a FANTASTIC shave!

    It was completely irritation free.
That's means when aplying AS lotion it doesn't burn, it doesn't sting or prick even a little bit.
It only gives a mild tinteling, aproval of the shaving gods.

The weapons of choice and their results:

    Hardware:

    Brush:
My trusty Muhle chromed silvertip (just reviewed it).

    Razor:
The famous Muhle R89, also just reviewed. Noticed the 2011 version wasn't up there yet (extremely surprised!).

    Blade:
Platinum plated, teflon coated Crystal Platinum (or Israeli Personna). Smooth & sharp (I also like Astra SP very much).

    Software:

    Pre-shave:
    Proraso Pre & Post Cream
Love the menthol and the fact it really works. I use it only on the first pass, to remove the most.
But you can perfectly well use it before every pass.
It really helps gliding and it softens the whiskers.

    Shave:
    Tcheon Fung Sing Tabacco Verde
"Tcheon Fung Sing is a historical company that since more than 50 years is producing shaving soaps using only selected raw materials of vegetable origins. Strictly homemade manufacturing methods have always excluded preservatives and colourings in total respect of the most sensitive skins.
    Shaving is an art that is carried out by 80% of men almost every morning;
It is thinking about them that Tcheon Fung Sing has been producing extra fine shaving creams."
TFS Tabacco Verde, a handmade, high-end, single batch of soaps is made and distributed.
    This is one of them.
Lathers very easy. Good stable lather, you only need a small amount. Very good slide and protection.
    Very good moisturizing capability's.

    After-shave:
The awsomeness that is Sir Irisch Moos.
What a scent, fantastic! Perfect for this time of the year.

All-in-all a fantastic shave! Haven't had a shave this good in a long time!
I think I know now with what people mean when they say "everything connected".
Not only prep and technique, like gears, also "software" needs to connect.
The more weaker links you remove the stronger the chain.
I had a good prep, good brush & razor and good technique.
But it also seemed that the "software" was perfectly aligned, in sync, with each other.
Today, all gears connected, almost flawlessly.
DFS on the chin, BBS on the rest.

As Geofatboy says: "have a great shave, have a great day!"
