Default Inoue tosuke kamisori + simpson duke 3 best badger

Hello everyone. Selling two items that i am not using:
1.***SOLD**** INOUE TOSUKE KAMISORI in original presentation box with paperwork.
Picked it up NOS about four months ago from a B&B member who honed it for me. It was my first Kamisori and i
have used it approximately 10-12 times all with one pass, but i just can not get used to shaving with it. Consequently, i am reluctantly selling it as it is just sitting without any use. It is in excellent condition with only a minor blemish at the toe/head of the razor that was on the razor when i received it and it is pictured in photo #5. It is a beautifully
made razor. $195 SHIPPED CAN/US (tracking add $10) WILL ALSO TRADE FOR COBRA CLASSIC WITH $ ***RAZOR HAS SOLD***

    2. ***SOLD****SIMPSON DUKE 3 in best badger. Picked this up one month ago from a B&B member who had it for 3 months
new and said it shed 1-2 bristles each use . i have used it approximately 12 times and have only seen 1
bristle loss, so it may be settling. i wanted to try a Simpson brush, but i prefer my boar brushes. In my opinion, it is
in very nice condition. $60 SHIPPED US/CAN (tracking add $10) BRUSH HAS SOLD!!

THANKS EVERYONE: B&B, EVAN AND TOM!!!

I have a Kamisori...REALLY amazingly sharp edge..VERY different way to maneuver and shaving feeling compared to my other straights...honing these is also a bit different as well

Looks lik it would be tough to shave with for a newbie. Looks awesome though I wish I had the money for it.

Wow, haven't seen a Tosuke in a while. Sadly I am tapped out for now.

Every time I see a Kamisori, it just makes me want to try a straight because they just look so amazing... then I pee my pants from fear!

I keep trying different kamisori to find one that I really enjoy. The problem for me is getting one where the edge can be dialed into what I like, and not so much the shaving technique. I've had a few really nice ones that were honed by some experienced guys and none have been quite right. Maybe I'm crazy, but I think that kamisori are easier for a newbie to learn shaving with. Shorter blade, more control over the tiny blade, etc...At least that's how it was for me when I started out. The only problem has been getting one with the type of edge I like.

I dont think a Kamisori would be a wise choose for a straight razor beginner as they can "bite" worse than a western razor as much less pressure is required
