Default Share Your Custom Blade Banks

I know there are a few threads here and there that'll pop up about a custom blade bank one of our crafty members has put together. Personally I don't feel like searching all afternoon! I'm finally in need of a new blade bank, and I bet many others could use a new one or a better one.

So please post pics and any other info or tutorial steps of your custom blade banks!

Here's mine. I bought it for $.50 in a thrift shop.

Here's mine. Cost me around around $9 for a four-pack of them.

As a bonus, each blade bank came filled with delicious ale. Every blade I've used since August 2011 has been deposited here, and it's perhaps three quarters empty as of this post.

Mine cost about $11 initially, and took 4 months to clean out. It's an empty tin of pipe tobacco for those who aren't sure.

59 cents! I put the hole on the side so they will slide in parallel to the direction they will end up laying. I figure that will let me use it longer before I can't fit any more in there.

If those came filled with ale, you got the defective ones!

Maybe the guy at the liquor store is refilling the cans.

Technically speaking, stout is a variety of ale, if one is distinguishing ales from lagers. See here. But yes, lest I impugn my beer merchant's good name, the cans were undoubtedly filled with stout. Delicious stout.

Picked this up at an estate sale. I particularly like the screw lock feeature. Tightens real good. Measures around 14" H and 5" circumference. It'll be awhile before this is filled up!

    Cool

A beer can, still closed at the top.
Sliced a opening at the bottom with my Ontario RAD knife, poured it out into a glass and drank it.
The beer is "Grolsch Kanon (Cannon)".
It is pretty strong for a beer; 11,6%
I chose it because I genuinely like the beer, but it is also a good looking can.
Not only are the letters in shining silver, they also have depth, giving it a cool look from all angles.

Don't really have one yet, but this seems like a great idea!

I have one tin stored away for 3 years now, 2 to go still so it's not going to be empty FVF tin, but something similar. Thanks for the idea!
