so today i needed to shave finally. i shave once a week. my beard is very slow growing. i remember i have a puck of la toja and i whip up a great lather/few drops of glycerin and presto. slick as ever cream. preshave was floid sandalor pre shave gel, also i used a gillette 7 oclock yellow(never used one before) and into the r41 that i only have shaved with one time. first time was with an astra green my fav blade. i start to shave. and wow smooth as silk. this thing was like shaving with my de89. so now im wondering what it was that made it so much better. its either

1. the new razor blade ive never tried before
2. the la toja cream that ive never used before
3. pre shave gel ive never used before

i never shoulda changed everything at once. i shoulda stuck with all the same stuff and changed the blade choice.
so now i have to go threw everything and turn it around piece by piece. its gunna take a wile to figure out what it was
so the point of this post for newbies only change one thing at a time. that way you can hone down what is wrong or right with what your doing.
but. i do have bbs is exactly 3 passes. no touch ups. way easier than the de89.. that r41 is a boxer. knocks you out in 3 rounds or less
