Does Anybody Beer Trade?

Just wondering...I started researching this lately as I know its pretty big underground....I have not traded yet, but its seems pretty cool. For instance, there are some really rare beers out there such as Three Floyd's Dark Lord. People will trade this for the value of 60.00 plus. Speaking of...anyone planning on going to Dark Lord Day?

I enjoy trading. Beers that don't come to my town...I trade for beers that someone else can't get. The key is proper shipping technique. You have to pack them well.

I'd love to get my hands on some of the stuff that doesn't make it to the Northeast.

When I was a kid, you couldn't get Coors where I lived, but my dad was friends with a couple of truckers. They'd always bring back cases of Coors if they went west. Now that I'm older, I kind of wonder what they were even thinking. LOL.

Semi-interested here, would have to figure out shipping costs to see how much I really can afford to participate I suppose. Any input out there?

Figure its like regular postage. Im not talking cases here.. but 6 bottles carefully wrapped and bubble packaged or less.

I live 102 miles from 3 Floyds brewery and have wanted to stand in line for some Dark Lord for a few years but just haven't made it. If I can work a romantic weekend into the trip I just might make it this spring...
