Default Hello to all at B&B

First, hello to everyone here at Badger & Blade. I have already found alot of highly useful information here. Second, I started shaving with a DE razor and a mug/brush about a month and a half ago after seeing a brush in the store and thinking it would be cool to shave the old school way. Once my technique got better, I enjoy my shaves alot more. I use a merkur #180 long handle with bluebird blades (after trying out a blade sampler pack). So thanks for everything and i look forward to meeting more of you and trying out some different equipment!

Welcome to B&B! It sounds like you are out with a good start. I like the #180 but I have never use the Bluebirds. What do you like best about them?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Pal - I like how smooth and sharp they are, while still maintaining a certain degree of forgiveness, if that's the right word. Among others, I tried some shark sc's that were sharp but not very smooth, and some lord plats that were the opposite for me. (As with all blade opinions, I am speaking directly to how well they work for me individually).
