Joe Cocker. He still has it. The man really rocks.

I actually just saw Iron Maiden (and Alice Cooper) in Atlanta a few weeks back. My first time seeing both of 'em and they put on a helluva show. They did play a lot of the newer stuff, true... but they hit all of their standards (and we got Run to the Hills... sorry, Tattewell).
This Friday, I'm seeing the Summerland Tour... Everclear, Lit, Sugar Ray, the Gin Blossoms, and Marcy Playground. The late 90s in concert, basically.
Spin H. ♣ WTB an ever-elusive 1983 SuperSpeed or Adjustable.
Just saw ZZ Top a couple weeks ago. Those guys still put on a great show.

It was a few months ago, but I got to see Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. Wooten brothers, original harmonica player and all. It was a fantastic show. Bela Fleck did a tribute to Earl Scruggs medley.
I hear David Byrne is going to tour again. Anyone hear his most recent stuff?

Band called Trampled By Turtles. They are a great bluegrass band. Talented and play with great energy. If you are a bluegrass fan check them out.
GO BADGERS! (UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON)
Saw Tool earlier this year and Five Finger Death Punch with Shinedown, Seether, etc a few months ago. And Avenged Sevenfold last fall for the second time.

I saw Shinedown in May, front row in a small club. It was great except for the drunk chick and her D-Bag boyfriend that tried to push their way to the railing next to me. She stood there with her hand on the rail between me and some girl for 20 minutes, then he tried shoving me as soon as the music started. I held onto the railing while he grabbed me from behind and tried to throw me back. Security finally saw it and walked over in front of us but said nothing. I had big red marks on my neck, kept the spot in the front though.
went to see Roger Waters do the wall live. for the 3rd time. EPIC!
Me and my buddies always listen/watches concerts on blu-ray when pre-gaming / drinking. The Last concert we put on I believe was Phil Collins live in Paris / Toto - Falling in Between.
The last artist I saw live, was Wiz KHalifa in Oslo, some months ago.
My tastes are simple: I am easily satisfied with the best - Sir Winston S. Churchill

This was the last festival I went to

Before that it was The Pixies I think...
Converted to straights...that didn't take long at all...
A little preemptive but I'm going to see the Rockstar mayhemfest in St Louis on Friday with a couple of guys from the battalion.
Mayhem Fest in Detroit (Clarkston) Michigan. AWESOME, Anthrax was awesome, Slayer was awesome, and Motorhead was AMAZING (they're my favorite band ever though so I might be biased). I left before Slipknot though, I don't really like them and felt like it might ruin all the awesomeness by staying.

Saw Blitzen Trapper the other night. Good show.
----Will----Keep the arsenal of veggie soaps coming.
Anvil, at a local bar. They were awesome, I got Robb and Sal to sign my Metal Pounders Union card. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to meet Lips.
[Alex]
last three shows were Clutch & Hell Yeah (Clutch is in my top 3 favorite current artists - bluesy, punk metal roots music)
Waters The Wall, which was epic as always, the production reminded me of the big 80's Floyd shows.
and Tenacious D, Rise of the Fenix tour about 2 weeks ago (last time I saw them was abotu 1995/96 at Cafe largo in LA)
will be at Mayhem next Saturday, and then the Peach festival (Allman Bros, OAR and 50+ bands) the following Saturday.
it's an occupational hazzard...but one I enjoy! lol
If you aren't grateful for what you've got, nothing that may be coming down the pike will likely do the trick for you.
