That is disappointing. I saw them at Irvine Meadows in 2008 and the show was awesome. They did a few new songs, but for the most part it was impossible to tell if it was a new show or "Live After Death" with a few small changes.
The performance and musicianship was top-notch. Something I've always admired about IM is they can pull off a live show and have it sound as good as the studio work.
Rush puts on an awesome show, but they do make concessions for the limitations of 3 people playing 4 instruments.

Yeah, even though I was disapointed with the set list, they played amazing, and Bruce can still hit all the notes. From that perspective, I was pretty happy to get to see Maiden before the pull the plug for good.

Whitesnake was a better show, which shouldnt be possible, but Coverfield is still a fantastic front man. if you ever get the change I highly recommend that show.

I'm too old for concerts now and I hate the way most people talk through the performance and keep taking photos with their phones. It's bad manners and very irritating. I get more enjoyment from the LP. The only shows I would contemplate seeing are by Jazz artists. The people that go to see Jazz have manners and behave like the cultured beings they are!

I had tickets to see Danzig in Pittsburgh a couple of weeks ago. Drove all the way up to the arena and they told me it was cancelled.

In the last few months I've seen Pat Benitar, Moody Blues, and Doobie Brothers.

Pat at the House of Blues in Dallas. She's having a problem hitting the high notes, but other than that still great.

Moody Blues and Doobies were at Winstar Casino and both were kick ass.

I saw Gordon Lightfoot a couple of years ago at Nokia. Poor shriveled up old man. His voice is gone.

Oh, and Styx at Winstar. They still have it without Kilroy.

July 4th concert on July 1st at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn to honor the troops and especially those being deployed to Afghanistan from the Fort this month. Eddie money was the headliner. He still does a really nice show.
