My Lamy 2000 w/ Montagrappa blue went grocery shopping with me this morning. It and my notepad somehow fell out of my pocket onto the wet asphalt. 
Inspection at home showed no damage anywhere, just a bit of ink burped into the cap.

I'm at my home office today so it is Pelikan M600 with Pelikan blue-black, but I'm going to change it soon. The B-B is too dry for this pen.
Nib creep isn't like "The Heartbreak of Psoriasis" or "The Plague". It's just a little bit of ink sticking to the nib. Trying to clean it up is a lot more trouble than it's worth.
