    I've lost track but I'm guessing it's between 40 and 50.

    ha!

1 - whatever I bought at Publix. i guess they're low-level Personna's? Can't wait to get paid and finally buy a sampler...I'm sure anything will be better than these.

I'm pretty well set on the following five blades:

    - Astra Superior Platinums (600)
    - Feathers (300)
    - Crystals (Blue Israeli Personnas) (200)
    - Red Israeli Personnas (300)
    - Gillette 7 o'clock Super Platinum Blue (300)

I have some 5 packs of some other various types as well as some from a sampler pack but these are the ones I've settled on buying in bulk. Just placed an order for three more one hundered packs of the Astra SP's last night on Amazon. I can't resist the value at just over 10 cents a blade shipped right to me. Take that carts!!

    My lineup is:
600 Persona Surgical Prep Blades (This is my favorite blade, ever; and will continue to use this blade in my Progress, EJ DE89, et al.) I'm paying $55 U.S./250 blades plus a modest shipping fee--a great deal.
400 Astra Superior Platinum (The second best blade for me.)
75 Feather Hi Stainless that will likely give to some worthy wet-shaving soul (Feathers, for me, are too harsh in any razor save Feather's AS-D1.)
Razor or choice is Merkur Progress set at 1.5 to 2 clicks from narrowest blade gap, which is #1 (calibrated) on my Progress razors.

Recently cleaned out shave-den drawer and gave away:
    400 BlueBirds (kind of harsh)
300 total Gillette 7 O'clock Yellow and Blue packaged blades (Again, harsh feeling.))
300 Persona Crystals (Not bad, but not as good as Astras and more expensive.)

    Tossed out the following blades:
100 Gillette 7 O'clock green packaged blades (Do these actually shear stubble? Methinks not.)
199 Dorcos (The worst blade I have ever tried and couldn't bring myself to bestow such a horror unto an unsuspecting wet shaver. Performance is more like a paint scraper than a razor blade.)
