I just started DE shaving a couple of weeks ago and have bought two sample packs, a few packs of others I wanted to try, then ordered 100 Personna Labs and 100 Voskhod. I know I should have waited until I tried them, but I figured they're cheap and if I don't like them I can PIF some, trade some, and/or sell some. I did not include the single Merkur that came with my razor.

Whatever my hubby keeps in the house. I started using a DE and Inj just a few months ago but I don't obsess over blades. Whatever my OCD husband has the cabinet, I grab what I need and use it. It works for both of us. It would be a bad thing if we both got as involved as he is.

1. Derby Extra (Horizontals, not that it makes any difference).
2. Dorco ST301.

I have about 20 Derby to use up and then it will be just the Dorco. I have never seen the point in hoarding loads of different brands of blades.

Also, there is nothing wrong with Derby, I just find the Dorco slightly smoother and they are available locally.
