Orders through Simpsons website

Do you usually receive a tracking number if you place an order on the Simpsons site? Also if you have ever ordered direct from them how long did your order take?

I did not get a tracking number, or even a shipping notice. It took almost exactly 14 days from the date I ordered. It was packed very well and arrived in excellent condition.

My order took about 11 calendar days to arrive and I did not receive a tracking number, only an electronic receipt after I placed my order.

I don't have a good answer for you. Customs might still be backed up because of the holidays. Here are some more data points for you.

If I may ask, what is the benefit of ordering from Simpsons direct as opposed to purchasing from one of their domestic vendors, e.g. Jarrod at http://thesuperiorshave.com? I assume that you are not an anxiety junkie.

Not all brushes are offered at domestic vendors. For example, the Gary Young Limited edition is only available direct from Simpsons.

At the time Superior Shave we're out of stock and couldn't give men a time-frame for restocking. Simpsons also worked out cheaper and I figured it would be easier for exchanges. Although tomorrow marks two weeks, and still no brush :(

I requested a specific loft on the brush I ordered direct from Simpsons last year, otherwise the rest of my Simpsons were bought from our vendors. I think it cost me about $10-12 more (shipping) than ordering it here and took about 8 days once it shipped.
