Default LSU vs. Alabama- "The Brawl For It All"

I still think we have time for a little "armchair quarterbacking".

I'm hopeful. I'm optimistic. I'm scared to death

I think LSU will pull it out by a 7-10 point margin. Something like 20-10 or 17-14

The crowds in NOLA are actually close to 50-50. People are partying like crazy. I don't think there
is really any type of home field advantage for the Tigers in this one. The SEC will be on a national stage in the biggest way tonight. TV viewers will see equal amounts of purple/gold and crimson/white in the stands. Hey, if Bama wins, I say we go 2 out of 3

I thought I had heard on TV today that the tickets were running about 2/3 LSU and 1/3 Alabama. I'm thinking it's going to have a home crowd feel tonight.

Hey, that's great. The guys on WWL estimated the "look" of the crowd to be about even. That surprised me. I hope the crowd is weighted toward the Tigers. Tonight, every advantage will count.

Can't see LSU beating Saban and Bama twice in the same year. Got to go with the Tide. Wouldn't be surprised if they win by 10. Two great teams though, and both will represent the SEC very well.

Going with the Tide as I always do! I may be wrong, but I think this home field advantage is overblown. Most of our big games as visitors are in loud stadiums, so they are used to crowd noise.

I think I'd like to see Jarrett Lee. This option stuff that Jefferson does drives me crazy. I'd love to see a pass or two.

I'm liking this so far but we need TD's! Brilliantly called defensively up to this point.

Wait a minute. I reread this and realized I made a huge typo. I meant to say that the Tide would totally manhandle the Tigers and win in a totally convincing fashion, probably something like 15-0 or maybe 15-3

Seriously, even with about 6 min. left, let me congratulate the Alabama Crimson Tide on what will be an obvious win. You fans are just as passionate as we are. I know you're enjoying this night. That defense is too overwhelming tonight. They obviously had better preparation, a better game plan and were the more physical and focused team tonight. Jordan Jefferson is not ready for such a big stage.

I'll say thanks to LSU for an exciting season filled with a lot of hope. But, they got mauled tonight.

Wow. Total domination by the Bama defense. The Tigers just didn't seem ready to play this game, and they just got handled. Congratulations to Alabama.

It really is all James' fault.

(Okay, maybe Owen had something to do with it as well.

Les Miles should be ashamed. Why he steadfastly refused to put in Jarrett Lee I'll never know. I've never seen such a display of stubbornness. Les is going to need a police escort to get out of the Dome.

Congrats Alabama. We know who is the better team now.

You've got that right. LSU seemed very unprepared, mentally and physically. The coaches will have to answer for that. Also, Bama's QB was ready to lead the team. He delivered. Jordan Jefferson's head was not in this game, AT ALL.

Holy Moly Andy! That was a ton of fun to watch. I originally had hoped LSU would remain undefeated, but it was fun to watch them have their arse handed to them on a platter. Really poor to see the LSU fans up and leave and how the attitudes of the players went South. Makes me lose a bit of respect there. Great show all the way around. I still say 'bama should've had the TD in the 3rd, too. Great show on them getting at least one. Such a fun game.

Champions adapt, change, improvise, and Miles did none of that.

He left a poorly performing QB in for the entire game, every fan was begging for a change. With such an obvious mistake, one has to question if he was trying to win this game.

We are no champions. (at least Miles isn't) Sorry to see such a great defensive performance go to waste in an embarrassing loss.
