Safety Razor of the Month: January 2012 - The Aristocrats Celebrate the New Year!

Good Day Ladies and Gentlemen, I wanted to get this thread up before any more of the month slips away. As your new Safety Razor forum steward, I'll be the one responsible for the SRotM threads for a while. Scott left pretty big shoes to fill, so please do forgive me if I stumble through the first few. This is on-the-job learning for me. This month, let's feature Gillette's Aristocrats (per the suggestion of another member). Any of 'em - gold, silver, or rhodium - adjustable or non. In keeping with the celebratory spirit of the New Year, feel free to photograph or photoshop them in a New Year setting with confetti, champagne glasses, party whistles, or even the Mayan calendar if you think this is our last year on this beautiful blue marble.

Here are my two lonely, uncased Aristocrats.

I think we can just close up shop now that anything posted will just be a repeat!

Achim, I would do very illegal things to have even half of your collection.

Sorry mate, wrong thread. This one is for Aristocrats, you know:

a·ris·to·crat
1. A member of the aristocracy: "an aristocrat by birth".
2. Something believed to be the best of its kind:

That thing is just a Tech

I know, I was thinking of taking a pen and scratching that out and writing in "Aristocrat". Who would notice?

Post the Junior, It is more of an Aristocrat than that Tech Jim put in.

Regent Tech

Definition of REGENT
1: a person who governs a kingdom in the minority, absence, or disability of the sovereign
2: a person who rules or reigns
3: Above the rabble.

Carry on commoners.
