Rather, for those who have used them, how long did they last for you? Thanks in advance!

In the neighborhood of 2 months, but I have very short hair.

It really is all James' fault.
(Okay, maybe Owen had something to do with it as well.)
Hmmm I'm on my first one. Both my father and I use it since the start of December. Should easily last me another month at least. So i'd say at least 2 months seems accurate.

Mine lasted much longer than 2 months. Probably more like 4.
Just got a full-size one in the mail yesterday. It's huge. I'd say two months is accurate. Another tip: they also say that you can cut them in half by taking a warm/hot knife to the bar. That would lessen the loss of the soap through contact with water.
I've had mine resting on a "soap saver" and have been using it fairly often. It's been a few months. More than makes up for the cost. I'd have gone through at least 3 jugs of the regular liquid stuff by now... shared, of course.
My first sample bar lasted about a month. Haven't done a full sized yet so I can't comment on those.

How long do the soap bars last for ya'll? Im a month through mine and would say its going faster than the shampoo.

I put mine on a hanging wire caddy, and it has lasted several months already, with plenty left....
A sample bar of Rosemary mint is going on almost a month. I have very short hair though. With cutting the large bar in smaller sections and using a soap saver I would imagine it could last months. I am narrowing down which will be my go to shampoo bar. Neem oil seems to be the winner as of now with the rosemary mint right behind it. I like clean hair but not super squeeky clean hair. Probably going to order another round of samples soon. Just sooooo many to choose from!
My soap bars go alot quicker than the shampoo bars also, but then again I use it alot more it since I shower twice a day. I usually get about three weeks out of a body bar but since I've started to use a sea sponge I think its going to last alot longer. My shampoo bars go for two months at least, probably closer to three but then again keep in mind I have short hair.

I bought 4 samples a while back and they have all lasted a decent amount of time. I am currently on my last sample, so I ordered two full size bars this morning.
Decided to ask in this thread instead of making a new one.
Bought one of almost every shampoo bar sample today from Chagrin.
Hopefully this will help me with my dandruff problem.
I really just can't take how bad these commercial products make my hair feel.
Has anyone tried the Chagrin conditioner bar? It will probably be the first one I try.
I have just been using baby shampoo for the past few days and it helped a little.
Should I do a vinegar rinse the day before my shampoo bars get here, even though I'm using baby shampoo now.
CV is a good soap so it might very well help your dandruff problem, it did help with my itchy scalp problem. I've not tried their conditioner bar so I can't comment on it, just remember it might take a several uses for you to really see results. As for the vinegar rinse, do it for a few days, I did it for the first few days if I remember right just to help remove leftover residue from using the harsh shampoo's but no longer feel the need for it.

Yes. It's the one bar that I didn't care for. And it's really more of a 2-in-1 as opposed to a conditioner bar. In any case, I felt that it didn't clean as well and left my hair not as easy to work with compared to the regular bars and no conditioner.
But, if the dandruff is due to SLS/detergent irritation, then any non-detergent bar (such as CV) will be a big help toward solving the problem and not just they symptoms.

I have tried the CV conditioning bar, and used it following using the coconut shampoo bar. I frankly didn't see any particular benefit, but to be honest I am not sure what I expected it to do. So far I get my best results from their soapnut and sunflower seed oil shampoo. Seems to rinse out more completely, and leaves my hair soft and manageable than does the coconut and the beer, honey and egg. I used the vinegar rinse thing on the first couple goes with the coconut shampoo bar, but again, didn't see any appreciable benefit.

a year ago I ordered 6 sample bars. I am on the last one now which means the sample bars are lasting me 2 months each. I use them every day and a vinegar rinse twice a week. I have short hair and am very pleased with this product.
I broke down and ordered 4 sample bars tonight. I normally use Irish Spring in my hair so this will be a change.
I have read about the rinses but do yall think it is nessesary for someone with really short hair? The way I understand it they are used to get rid of build ups from detergents.
I have really short hair (crew cut) and have never felt a rinse to be necessary (although I have tried it). You will go through a period of transition tho, where your hair might not feel it's best. Info in the wiki: http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/Shampoo_bar
