Any nasal snuffers?

This is something I have never tried. Do you guys do it strictly for the Nic hit, or is there some other sort of enjoyment you get from it?

I am slightly hesitant to try something like this, only because of the convenience factor, I enjoy my cigars, pipe, or hookah, but do it strictly as a relaxation activity, and only when I can commit the proper amount of time to it. I feel like something like this has the potential to be very habit forming because you can take a pinch and go along with whatever you are doing. I do not what to get myself in the position where I feel I need to have nicotine, instead of wanting it because it is something I enjoy.

I intended to get some with a previous order, but the vendor didn't carry it anymore I think. All the different variates interest me. I'm more concerned about gross snot than getting addicted though!

I will honest with you Commander Quan, I am quite new to it but you are right it can be habit forming, the effects I am experiencing are a boost in mental sharpness/concentration and a energy boost, I am not addicted to Nicotine, yet. It can be kinda gross at times. I am enjoying some Ozona Cherry Menthol at the moment, I am not liking the traditional non flavored snuffs at the moment, BURN baby BURN!

I was into nasal snuff for a few years. "High Dry Toast" deserves its praise! I got bored of the one-dimensionalness of the aromatics (most of them) pretty quickly. The nicotine hit wasn't ever that great for me on any of the snuffs I tried, but someone who isn't me did find that it enhanced a marijuana buzz in a clean and positive way. Enjoying the scent of the tobacco is definitely a big part of the nasal snuff experience. If you don't like how tobacco smells in its unburned form, then you'll want to stick to the stronger aromatics which are scented with oils that overpower the tobacco scent.

I smoked cigarettes for a long time and moved to smokeless tobacco after that. I currently use Skoal snus. I have never tried the powdered snuff. I'd like to try it and any suggestions would be great.

I am by no means an expert but here is my preferred method for taking snuff...there are other methods but IMO this is the least messy and wasteful.

I usually do this twice as desired. Dry snuff should be used with more caution.

Next project is to make some of my own Nasal stuff from pipe tobacco, I just got some McClelland's Wilderness and it a bit more virginias than I want in my English blend some I think it will be a prime candidate. I will post my process and taste test after completion.

I found a snuff for you cigar guys, it's called Braniff Caribbean, it's made with Cuban Tobacco and taste just like a cigar with some tropical undertones :-)

I've been enjoying the McCrystal's you sent me. I've tried a couple of the other ones, but I haven't quite got my portions figured out yet. I'm using the spoon end of a Czech tool to scoop it out of the bags, and it's difficult to get just the right amount. I took about a triple shoot of Rooster one time, afterwards I though my brain was bleeding.

You know, I have to say I contemplated giving snuff a go whilst reading some of BladeBoy's posts and staring at pictures seen here and online...but after some of the experience some of ya'll have had with the stuff, I'd sooner snort lye.
