I feel the same way and will not claim any international PIF's. I work nights and my wife works days and we only have one vehicle at the time. If the post office was open sometime between 6:00pm and 6:00am then I would have no problem shipping international. Are all post offices closed on Saturdays and only deliver or is it just mine?
I will also claim and ship CONUS only. Nothing against people outside of the U.S. Just a hassle to ship outside U.S.

I always ask if gents are ok shipping int'l... I know it ain't a joy to pay more on the shipping than in the product it self, and it can be a real hassle to send some stuff int'l...
The lady in the post office is now asking me to open all the packages that I send and they even made me explain why I'm shipping shaving related stuff...
But I'll keep shipping international, I (somehow) believe in karma....

Hi Landri. Did SE razor that I sent you arrive?

I have been a bit weary of sending to the states but it looks as if it isn`t quite as expensive as I thought.
It has actually turned out to be cheaper each time than the prices on the post carriers website.
If the shipping costs keeps people from trading a solution could be to make an order from a national vendor on behalf of the PIF receiver.
I try to set myself second.
I've shipped outside the US many many many times, including in this thread. It really isn't that awful. Assuming its not heavy, it costs maybe an extra $1 or 2.
Of course, you have to fill out a small form, which usually involves a trip to the PO. If the international members don't mind waiting an little extra longer than I'm always more than happy to do international PIFs, because I personally would be disappointed if I was disqualified for one.
Thanks Landri for sending me yours! Still waiting on it.
ProfMoriarity should be receiving his from me before too long

I just hit reply with quote, take out the quote code, and then update the table. Pretty easy

Looks fine to me unless your are referencing the way it "quotes"

I find it works well to "go advanced" at least on the computer, no experience with the smartphone
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, Heb. 4:12
I just highlight the table, copy it, then paste it in the quick reply in at the bottom. There has been a bit of discussion here that using the reply with quote doesn't always work properly.
Once it has been pasted in the quick reply I just go ahead and edit the old info out, then enter the new.

The idea of the never-ending pif is just that: An endless string of pif's. If you see something on the list below that you would like to try, feel free to claim it. In return, you agree to add a pif from your own den to the list. Use the following procedure:
1. Post in this thread saying you'd like to claim the offering
2. Pm the donor of that item with your mailing info.
3. Once confirmed, re-post the list, removing the donor's name and item and adding your own. If you'd like to wait until you receive the item before offering your pif, simply place a "?" after your name instead.
There is no limit to how often you can play, but a member may only have one outstanding pif at a time. That is, you are ineligible to claim another pif until someone claims yours. There are no pif advance credits.

Jay No wtb here. Think i've bought EVERYTHING
Personally I'd rather mail something than make a purchase on someone else's behalf. For me the purpose of the PIF is to send on something I have tried and like/don't like so that someone else has the opportunity to form an opinion on those items. If I'm just buying something for someone it changes the PIF nature into something else.
