Default Ingram Shave Cream Scent Description

I'm wondering if anyone can give me a description of the Ingram scent. I'd like to try it because of the menthol (never tried a menthol cream), but don't want to get something that I just don't like the smell of. So far, I've liked the smell of Speick, Van der Hagen, Bay Rum, and a few others. I ordered a Palmolive stick and an Edwin Jagger Aloe Vera puck and didn't like the smell of either (too cologne-y). Palmolive worked great, EJ was bad for me all around.

Give your best shot at a scent description of Igrams, please? Comparisons welcome.

Ingrams to me has a mild, minty-menthol smell. To me it's pleasant but not pronounced like some of the AOS or T&H creams. The scent is hard to describe.

As the above poster stated, it is a difficult scent to describe. I find the scent to be somewhat lemony with a hint of mint. It's not a very strong scent though.

to me its just menthol. pure and simple with maybe a touch of peppermint. Its OK but would not repurchase.

Thanks guys. This helps out a lot. All I needed was a general idea. My interest is piqued.

I have to disagree, it smells like cheap ivory bar soap.

If you're looking for menthol this will not disappoint. The 2nd pass will put icicles on your chin.

If you're in the states I can send you a sample if you want. Just PM me if you're interested.

To my untutored nose Ingram has a mild, soft soapy smell with a wonderful chilling menthol after-effect.
    Reminds me of my grandad.

It's one of the 3 main tube based cream brands in the UK, along with Palmolive and Erasmic.

It's not been mentioned, and I've only used it a couple of times, but the first thing that entered my mind was chewing-gum.

I have here my tube of ingram cream, and it just has a very soft menthol smell to me.
I actually had to take a good long sniff just to smell it. It's very light.
