Today my Robert Becker #5 scuttle in Malachite arrived! So naturally I had a shave with it right away! (I shave after work anyways) It's not an essential piece of shaving kit, but it sure adds a bit of luxury to the proceedings to always have warm lather!

Warm lather is rather nice on a cold day. Very nice looking. I may have to start using my scuttle again since winter is here!

After thinking about it quite a lot, I've decided on ordering a Semogue 730 HD Silvertip to be my second "nice" brush. Been using a Vulfix Boar/Badger mix (not the 404 model by the way, does anybody know of other models Vulfix made in a boar/badger mix?) the last 3 years and prior to that it usualy was a cheap Omega boar. I Hope I chose wisely.
With the rest of my birthday money I ordered 2 new brush stands, a bowl of MWF and a bottle of Aqua Velva Ice Balm.
