Hey gang! Here is todays deal! I am almost more excited about it than a high end razor! I picked up a 14" central machinery band saw today for $100!!!! This thing is a TANK very nice and heavy duty! The saw stands 5' tall, and, weighs 100+ pounds. It should be able to cut out some razor scales very nicely! Now I need to get a buffer, and sander...

I just got the '58 SS at an antique store today for $14 and bought the Weber off the B/S/T forum. I also have a lot of 8 razors coming in off of the bay and they should be here this week. I'll probably start a thread in the Safety Razors forum, chronicling my restoration of those razors.

The SS isn't gold, that's just the lighting.

Fat Boy, Slim, Super Speed, Ball Handle Tech and Travel Tech. Mostly flea market. I'm in for about the same as that 16 pack so far and enjoying a better shave.
Note that the order is off a little... Slim, Fat Boy...

    Default LOCAL Product

I used this stuff in the late 50's or early 60's in the drug store sizes.Manufactured in San Francisco,Lan-Lay put out some fine lanolin loaded products. The white capped bottles were barber samples and were given to barbers empty.Bill the barber in downtown Larkspur Ca. has a couple of the water bottles, that look like these green bottles here in the photos.I am searching for one marked "alcohol" , but I would be extremely lucky to find one...
