Just ordered an Omega Pro 48! Hoping my third boar's a charm (after Burt's Bees and VDH didn't do so well for me)
Also some Real Shaving Company Eye Wizard, Daily Face Wash, and Face Scrub direct from them, since I can't find their "Evolution" line locally. Free shipping on $25+ orders, inexpensive products, I'll probably be back!

    1. It is Glass
    2. It was never Used
    3. Best of All ... Even though it's form P&G ... It Smells Like Shulton OLD SPICE !!! The Way it Should !!!

Goes to show that if they put it back in Glass ... They could have the "True" Original Classic Sent.

Picked up a blade sampler, Razorock Third Eye soap, and a Razorock alum stick. The soap lathers like a dream, but irritates and dries the heck out of my skin though.

Just ordered a new silvertip as mine has lost a few hairs lately and got me worried.

And another Parker razor, a hundred Personna blades so to try them, and a Parker SRB straight (type that uses halk DE blades) so that I can at least try to be a big boy and get my feet wet (not the throat I hope, if you know what I mean)

    Default Large Scuttle

    [IMG][/IMG]

    [IMG][/IMG]

Large custom suttle from penmanship, purchased 1-4-12 arrived 1-13-12, Manitoba to Texas.

Tim packed it so well it was almost impossible to break.

It's much larger than my large Moss and whips up a bowl of lather much quicker.

    Thanks Tim
    Regards,

    Jeff

Best contact penmanship on this forum. He had it made and did not want to keep it so I purchased it from him.

One of the boxes it was packed in was labeled stonewaregallery.com

I was very tempted with that one when it was on BST... I thought it might be too wide for the depth. Please post how you get along with it as it looks like it was very well made. I need another scuttle (what am I saying.. NO I DONT... yes I do... time for a nap)

stoneware gallery is a potters community store in our city (winnipeg)...they have potters make stuff, display and sell in their store for commission etc. i'll let tim weigh in on the potter that made his, as i'm not aware, but she was the owner of the store i believe. we have quite a few houseware items (bowls, mugs, tea sets etc) from stoneware gallery (my wife loves the place), but no shave gear from there...yet

i think he gave her rough dimensions, colour choice and a few web pics, and she came up with this beauty.

i'm tempted to call them up or stop in and see if they can make me a brush scuttle (SRD style) and what it would cost.

It's big, and in my opinon the height and depth are ok. Like I said I just whipped up a bowlful of lather as soon as I unpacked it and honestly it was quicker and easier to get a bowlful than with my large Moss scuttle. The extra size let me swirl the brush quicker and whip it up easier. The only thing I might see, and I need to use it a few days/weeks before final judgement is that the insides of the bowl might be a little more vertical,ie, less slope so the lather will not climb out as easily. Even considering that I think I will like it .

    Jeff

VERY nice. I have a Dirty Bird on order from Julie, the smallest one. My shoulders are sagging a bit as you note the advantage of a larger one. I only have so much room in my den, unless... unless - YES!!!! Move the SWMBO out and THEN I can get the larger one!

Actually when we move into the house over 30 years ago, the wife took over the hall bathroom, which left me the slightly smaller bedroom bath to myself.
