I got a 64 Slim in the mail today! It's in nice shape. There's a little paint worn off of a couple of the numbers but the plating is all intact.

    Got those rather nice brushes.

The black badger and the two boars looks like they could need new knots, but I will check first.
All brushes looks to be unused.

And I got a Mühle R101 with the 2010 head and three wooden bowls for soaps.
    A nice start to 2012

After years of searching, I finally found my first OS mug. Got it for $5.35. I think it is circa 1948.

Picked up a Merkur 23c (actually bought this NYE, so technically a Dec. 2011 acquisition), Vulfix 1000p Pure Badger brush, Cella shave soap (cream?), and RazoRock Mughetto di Bologna. Haven't tried the RazoRock yet, but the Cella is amazing!

Just bought a new Bocote wood 24mm Silvertip from PCwoodcraftandPens on Etsy. Absolutely beautiful and feels nice in the hand. I can't wait to use it. The knot on the vintage brush my Dad gave me decided to seperate. I think this one should last quite a while.

    Default Order fromBullGoose Shaving

I just received an order from Phil at BullGoose Shaving: a Semogue Owners Club boar brush, a bottle of D.R. Harris sandalwood aftershave, a jar of Proraso aloe and green tea pre-shave cream, and packs of the following blades: Bolzano, Astra, Rapira Swedish Steel, and Gillette 7 O'clock yellow. I can't wait to start using this stuff. The SOC is an upgrade to my Semogue 1305, which I find to be a very good brush -- so I'm hoping the SOC is even better.

    I scored a vintage Coticule for a whopping $6.50.

The best score though was making some new friends in the Straight Razor Making and Restoration forum.

Got this beautiful brush from Rudy Vey, a Buffalo horn handled rover. 22mm set at 46mm. WOW! Very nice! It will look very nice next to my Wade and Butcher meat cleavers when they get new handles!
