    Default Tracking Workouts

In case anyone is looking for a tool to track their workouts and provide a bit of motivation, I've been using Fitocracy for a few months now. It is strangely addictive entering workouts, getting points and completing quests. Perhaps if we get enough B&B members using it, we can create a B&B group.

I've been using MapMyRun which is mostly geared for cardio - running/biking/hiking etc. It is built around a google map mashup. Here's the route I created for yesterday's ride. There are some rudimentary social media features (search/share routes, friending, basic twiter/facebook integration). There is also the ability to upload GPS routes from Polar watches and Garmins and there are iPhone, Android, and blackberry apps to allow them to map routes.

From the home page/getting started it's hard to tell what Fitocracy is focused on. Looks like more on goals and social media. Maybe better gym tracking tools.

Edit: Henry, would you mind sending me an invite also?

I'm old so I started off with pen and paper. Once the shakes and sweating stopped it wasn't too bad. About a year ago I moved everything over to my smartphone using an app callec Xercise.

I joined fitocracy a few months ago. Never really used it because entering my weight routines into it seemed like a pain.
Used it for my cardio today though and it was alot easier and kind of fun(got 270 points LOL). I think I will continue to log my cardio on the site... and if I stop being so lazy enter in my weight routines.

I have a Garmin Forerunner 305, I LOVE the thing. It's the best training tool I can imagine.

I'm a dedicated RunKeeper user here. It's mainly focused on cardio, but they've been incorporating some strength training and sleep-schedule modules as well... I just use it mainly for my runs. :)

    Default Old-school workout tracking!

I'm old-school. I shave with a DE and a straight, I work out with free weights in my basement, I ride a single-speed, and I track my workouts with a pencil or pen and paper!

Added my last few workouts to Fitocracy. Easy to add, think I will keep up with it for now.

I have to agree. I just switched from a Polar RS800 with a stride sensor to a Garmin 405. The Garmin is great and the Ant upload works really well, much better than the clunky Polar IRDA.
