    Default Eau Sauvage

Try as I might to find a replacement after 6 years of use for this steller product I simply cannot. I thought I found one in guerlain vetiver but to my angst I was told one day by my wife, " what is that horrible cologne you are wearing!" She said this with a face one makes when smelling 10 day old milk. Let us say that after that day GV went to the back of the medicine cabinet and eau sauvage reimmerged.
I have looked and looked for another but am starting to believe that this 40 plus year old scent is one darn good product. My wife loves it on me which is most important. The scent is fresh and clean and last most of the day.
    What are your thoughts?

    HAPPY NEW YEAR

Why replace with something else? If you like the scent, get it again.

Yeah, unless you just want to try something else (nothing wrong with that), it sounds like you have a winner there.

I just tried ES the other day. Nice scent.

I love Eau Sauvage. It's one of my favorites and my go to Summer scent.

I love ES, too. It will always have a place in my wardrobe.

Thanks for the comments. I believe craigruhl said it the best.
Eau Sauvage is a great cologne. I will be sticking with it for quite some time.

For a heavier, very good citrus, I like YSL Pour Homme, the 1971 version (not the more recent L'homme versions).
    That ship has sailed.
