I hope you can fill me in on what this one is about, I haven't heard of it. But, if it's as salted out as I imagine, and I know Bowmore has the capsity to do so, it's got to be incredible!
The Rendezvous Rye was excellent on the rocks, I'm very tempted to buy a bottle. Next I tried the silver rye. I didn't care for it at all, and I actually thought it tastes a bit like tequila.
Suntory Yamazaki 12yo. I've decided that I really like this whiskey; it seems to be between a bourbon and a scotch to me, with a little of the sweet notes of bourbon mixed with the maltier, peaty tones of a scotch. Both different and similar to both to me.
My last two fingers of The Yamazaki 12 as a bracer for a wedding.
One glass of generic red wine at the reception dinner.
One champagne toast. See above.
One bottle of De Konninck later that day. Not nearly as tasty as draft.
Three fingers of Ardbeg 10 late that evening after the family was in bed.
More of a beer guy...kicking back with a Hofbrau Maibock on a warm summer night tonight
If you've never had Schlafly's APA dry hopped ale, you don't know what you're missing.
