Vesper Martini (AKA 007 martini from Casino Royal)

w/ Beefeater's, Rain Organic vodka, and Cocci Americano (subs for original Kina Lillet-retains the quinine..totally elevates this drink from current Lillet)

I tried this a while back. I agree the Cocchi Americano is superb but I wasn't at all impressed with the Vesper.

Local store had a 2 day sale on lemons... 2 lb bag for $.99. They had been (and are now back to) selling for $.79 EACH.
So for me, it's all about my favorite sweltering weather drink... Tom Collins.

I love the Infinity too. Was lucky enough to find a few bottles of the 2nd edition earlier this year. I've finished all but one That i have set aside for a special occasion. For me it's a couple of drams of Aberlour a'bunadh cask no 30. First time i've tried this brand and i'm so impressed. A hugely sherried malt bottled at cask strength and non chill filtered. It needs a good slug of water and,20 mins or so to breathe, in order to tame this beast but what a whisky. Just exceptional.Pete

A couple of glasses of Johnny Drum Private Stock 101, neat. There is a raw, iodine quality to this bourbon that I simply do not like. I hate to give up on a bourbon, especially a high proof bourbon, but Johnny Drum is just not to my taste. Perhaps it is time to surrender and use the rest of the bottle as a cola mixer - I've tried everything else.

Some brand or other of grappa. Wow this stuff is fire water. I seem to have developed a taste for it though.

It's my own version of the Old Fashioned, with Glen Morgan blended scotch whisky, Fernet Branca (just a splash), and water. I like it better with club soda but I'm out.
